A tried-and-true classic style - but with woefully few options available on the market, sparkling red has long been a staple in northern Italy. It's an easy-going wine that doubles as a crowd-pleaser. If you like bubbles, and you like fruit-forward reds, this is a style that will integrate perfectly into your routine.

The red grapes in this blend were sourced in Lodi, CA in the
Petit Menseng white grapes came from local Bull Run Winery in Centreville, VA. -
Crisp, tart, medium-bodied, red berries (think cherries and raspberry with maybe some red currant but we're not too sure about that last one)
Suggested Pairings
(Literally most things, but not so much dessert)

Fried Chicken
Oh boy. Listen. The crunch, the juice, the steam... when you dig into that soft and succulent chicken, you want to cut it with something crisp, but not overly filling. Sparkling red.
-
Pizza
Truly the only way pizza should be eaten actually. The bubbles cut some of the fatty cheese, but the strength of the red grape flavor matches that tomato. Ugh. Good stuff.
-
Salad
We get that you wanna eat salad - it's probably a good idea. You can seriously jazz it up though by picking bubbles with flavor.
-
Some nice BBQ
Let’s break into that beer dominated world, shall we? Sparkling red is bold enough to keep up with the robustness of your food, and the bubbles keep it light and easy!
-
Sharp Cheese
It could be dull cheese too. But the point is essentially that cheese in general is PERFECT for bubbly red. The bubbles and acidity cut the fat and tanin harmonizes with the earthy (or funky) essence.

A Good Nap
This one goes without saying.
